If you wish to see more of the Isle of Mull, then make this your base.
We would be only too happy to help you plan your stay with us.

Valerie and Jeff Fielding
The Isle of Mull and the neighbouring isle of Iona lie off the west coast of Scotland. From Oban, on the Scottish mainland, where many visitors arrive on their way to Mull and Iona, the seaward view is dominated by rocky peaks and green slopes. Stone Circle at Lochbuie
Traigh Gheal Beach, Tireragan The Isle of Mull is a terrain of tumbling streams (burns), high peaks, dramatic views, wildlife, history and atmospheric ambience. These islands are a wilderness just awaiting discovery, a haven of peace and relaxation or simply a beautiful centre from which to base a highland holiday away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Whether walking, sailing, fishing or just lazing around enjoying the scenery and watching the wildlife, Abbey View is a perfect base for exploring the excellent coastline, hill walks and sandy beaches together with those of the sacred Isle of Iona where travellers will find the Abbey, now rebuilt, which receives visitors all the year round, from around the world. Knockvologan
Fingal's Cave on Staffa During certain times of the year whale and dolphin excursions can be taken from the island. The Treshnish Isles are famous for their seabird life, including the large puffin colonies and Staffa is famous for Fingal's Cave and the geological formation that inspired Mendelssohn's Hebridean Overture. Local maps and guides are available from Abbey View and we are happy to book trips for guests. A wildlife tour for otters, eagles etc. picks up locally. Hire of bicycles can also be arranged.
A trip to Tobermory is beautiful every inch of the way. Drive there along the west coast passing through Calgary Bay and Dervaig on your way, and returning by the east coast through the Glen. No need to hurry, the days are long and light in late spring and summer. Tobermory
